The annual contest of the RWA Chapter of NOLA STARS has a
contest that’s, well, different. We don’t prohibit anyone from entering. Heck,
Nora Roberts can enter as long as the manuscript is not contracted and/or
unpublished in any format. There are no categories to figure out either because
this contest resembles an editor or agent’s desk…or even the Amazon store.
Every entry is out there waiting on three qualified judges to give valuable
feedback and hopefully send the entry on to the panel of six industry
